Terms of Use

Accepting These Terms

By using Nestpoint at 19216811ip.ws, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. In these terms, “Nestpoint,” “we” and “us” refer to the site and the team that runs it.

Acceptable Use

You’re welcome to read our guides, bookmark them and share links to them. When you use the site, you agree not to:

  • Copy or republish our guides, illustrations or other content without written permission
  • Use anything on the site to access a router or network you don’t own or aren’t authorized to manage
  • Try to disrupt the site, overload its server or gain unauthorized access to it
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Our Guides Are Information, Not Advice

Everything on Nestpoint is general information about home routers and networks. It isn’t professional IT, security or legal advice. It also doesn’t replace the official support offered by your router’s manufacturer or your internet provider.

Router menus, default settings and features vary by manufacturer, model and firmware version. A guide may not match your device exactly.

Changing Router Settings Is at Your Own Risk

You are responsible for any change you make to your router or network. A factory reset erases your saved settings, and a wrong change can cut off your connection or weaken your network’s security.

Before you change anything, note the original values and back up your configuration if your router offers that option. Only change settings on equipment you own or have permission to manage. If your internet provider supplied the router, your agreement with that provider may also apply.

No Warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep guides accurate and current. Even so, we make no warranties, express or implied, about accuracy, completeness, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We also don’t guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nestpoint and the people who run it are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or your inability to use it.

That includes lost data, lost internet service, damage to devices, and security problems that result from following a guide. Some places don’t allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Our guides link to outside websites, such as manufacturer support pages and technical standards. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

The site may also display ads from third parties. An ad on Nestpoint is not an endorsement, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

Intellectual Property

Nestpoint owns the text, illustrations, logo and design of this site unless a page says otherwise. Please ask before reusing any of it.

Router brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify products, and their use doesn’t imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies.

Updates to These Terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. If a court finds any part of them unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
