Nestpoint Privacy policy

Privacy Policy

Overview of This Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026

This policy explains what information Nestpoint (https://19216811ip.ws) collects when you visit, why it’s collected, and the choices you have.

Nestpoint is a static website. It has no user accounts, no comment system, no contact forms and no newsletter, so we collect very little. Some information does reach our server and a few third-party services, as described below.

We never ask for your router password, and we have no way to access your router or home network.

Information Collected Automatically

Server access logs

Our server keeps standard access logs. Each entry records the visitor’s IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request.

We use these logs for security, such as spotting abusive traffic, and for troubleshooting errors. We don’t use them to build profiles of visitors, and we keep them only as long as those purposes require.

Google Fonts

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Nestpoint has no logins, so our pages don’t need cookies to work. The third-party services described below can set cookies or use similar technologies, such as device identifiers.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The guides will still load if you do.

Analytics Data

Nestpoint may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

We look at this information in aggregate to see which guides help most. We don’t use it to identify individual visitors.

Google explains its practices in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising Cookies

Nestpoint may show ads served by Google AdSense. If ads appear on the site, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

After you opt out, you may still see ads, but they won’t be personalized based on your past browsing. Advertising never affects what our guides say.

Emails You Send Us

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use that information only to reply and to act on your message, such as correcting a guide.

We don’t add anyone to a mailing list. Please never include passwords in an email to us.

When Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only in these situations:

  • With the third-party services described in this policy, which receive data directly from your browser
  • With the company that hosts our server, which stores the access logs on our behalf
  • When the law requires it, or when needed to protect the site and its visitors from abuse

Your US State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you extra rights over your personal information. Several states, including California, Virginia and Colorado, have laws of this kind. These rights can include the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
  • Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information or its use for targeted advertising

Nestpoint does not sell personal information. To make a request, email us from the address you want the request to cover. We may ask for details to confirm the request relates to you, and we won’t treat you differently for making one.

For advertising and analytics data held by Google, the Google opt-out tools linked above are the fastest route.

Children’s Privacy

Nestpoint is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Our guides sometimes link to manufacturer support pages, technical standards and other outside sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Keeping Information Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold. No website or email system is completely secure, which is one more reason never to send us passwords or other sensitive details.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as the site changes. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above and the date at the top of this page.

Privacy Questions

Send any question about this policy, or a privacy request, to [email protected]. We aim to reply within a few business days.
